Born on the Great Plains of the Kansas and raised in the Arkansas Ozark Mountains, Mark has been professionally providing smoked meats for over 40 years. From Dots Diner in Cave Springs Arkansas to Main Street Diner in good old Vancouver, Washington, Mark is again venturing into the barbecue catering business. Everything he does is under the guidance and instruction of the Lord God almighty. (Shorty was his dad and heck, he is 5 inches taller than him after all)

Shorty’s Barbecue would love to share quality smoked meats and handcrafted sides for your next gathering party or reunion. We can take a very custom approach to your every desire and have the experience and integrity to pull it off flawlessly. Mark has cooked in 18 states and opened over 200 plus units along with preparing food for 4 US presidents. He has Five years of experience in culinary school. and Northwest Barbecue Grilling. Serve safe certified.
